Refund & Dispute Policy

Gobo Studio sells software subscriptions — there are no physical goods to return.
Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard via the Stripe Billing Portal; you'll keep access through the end of the current billing period and won't be charged again.
Annual subscriptions
Annual subscriptions may be refunded on a prorated basis within 14 days of the initial charge or annual renewal. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable but can be cancelled at any time to stop future renewals; you'll keep access through the end of the paid term.
Free tier
The free tier is free — no charges, no refunds.
How to request a refund
Send a message via our contact form from the address on your account with your invoice number and reason for the request. We aim to respond within two business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
Failed payments
If a renewal fails, we'll retry the charge a few times over the next several days. If all retries fail, your subscription is automatically marked past-due and access to paid features is suspended until payment succeeds. Your data is preserved during this period.
Chargebacks and disputes
Please contact us first — most issues can be resolved faster than a chargeback. If you file a chargeback, your account may be suspended pending resolution to prevent further loss. We provide Stripe with the records they request to support legitimate charges (subscription history, login events, IP addresses).
Service issues
If a paid feature is unavailable for an extended period due to a problem on our end, contact us and we'll credit your account or issue a prorated refund at our discretion.
