Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Gobo Studio and the products listed on our pricing pages (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Gobo Concepts ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old.

2. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers; new prices apply at your next renewal.

3. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard via the Stripe Billing Portal. See our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy for details.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, spam, harass, or harvest data without consent. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of data you upload (song lists, singer info, branding assets, etc.). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to operate the Service for you. We will not sell or share your data with third parties except as required to run the Service (e.g., Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email) or as required by law.

6. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, change features, or discontinue parts of the Service. We'll give reasonable notice for material changes.

7. Promotions

Promotional pricing, discount codes, and free trials are subject to the specific terms presented at the time of the offer. Unless otherwise stated: one promotion per customer, no cash value, can be revoked for abuse, and standard pricing applies on renewal after the promo period ends.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Monterey County, California.
