Getting started
What is Gobo Studio?
Gobo Studio is the central account, billing, and login portal for a family of products from Gobo Concepts. One account here gets you into every product you've subscribed to.
Which products are available?
Right now, KaraokeFlow — an all-in-one karaoke management system for KJs and venues. More products will be added under the same account in the future.
How do I sign up?
Click Sign up, enter your email and a password. We'll send a verification link — click it to confirm your address. You can browse products immediately, but you'll need to verify your email before checking out or opening a product.
Pricing & billing
What are the tiers?
KaraokeFlow has four tiers:
- Free — 1 venue, 100 songs, 2 active singers, KF Player.
- Home — $5/mo or $50/yr. Unlimited songs & singers, kiosk display, venue branding, auto-show.
- Pro — $15/mo or $150/yr. Everything in Home plus Virtual DJ integration, Digitrax streaming catalog, pitch shift.
- Studio — $50/mo or $500/yr. Everything in Pro plus multiple venues, multiple KJ accounts, API access, analytics.
Annual plans get two months free vs. paying monthly.
How does billing work?
All payments are processed by Stripe. You can pay by credit card, debit card, or any other method Stripe supports in your country. We never see or store your card details.
How do I switch plans?
Go to your account dashboard, click Change plan on the product, and pick a new tier. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
How do I cancel?
From your account dashboard, click Manage billing & invoices to open the Stripe Billing Portal, then cancel the subscription. You keep access through the end of your current billing period. See our Cancellation Policy for details.
Do you offer refunds?
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. Annual subscriptions can be refunded on a prorated basis within 14 days of the charge. See the Refund Policy for full details and how to request one.
How do I use a promotion code?
Choose your plan from the pricing page. On the Stripe Checkout page, click Add promotion code, type the code, and click Apply. The discount appears on the order summary before you pay.
I didn't get a receipt for my payment.
Stripe sends receipts directly from noreply@stripe.com — check your spam folder, especially for the first one. You can also re-download any past invoice from the Manage billing & invoices portal on your account page.
Account
I didn't get my verification email.
Check your spam folder first. If it's not there, log in and click Resend on the yellow banner at the top of your account page. Still nothing? Contact us and we'll verify it manually.
How do I change my email or password?
Go to Account settings. To change email, enter the new address — we'll send a confirmation link there, and your email changes once you click it. To change password, enter your current password and the new one.
I forgot my password.
Use Forgot password on the login page. We'll email a one-hour reset link.
How do I delete my account?
Send a message via the contact form from the email on your account. We'll remove your account and all associated data within 30 days. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account.
Using your products
How do I open KaraokeFlow once I'm subscribed?
From your account dashboard, click Open KaraokeFlow. You'll be signed in automatically — no second login required.
"Open KaraokeFlow" isn't working.
Make sure your email is verified and your subscription is active (status should be active, not past_due). If you're still stuck, log out and back in, then try again. If it persists, contact us.
Where's my API key?
Each product gets its own API key, visible on your account dashboard under that product's card. Copy it directly from the box. The companion app or any API client uses this key to authenticate.
How do I regenerate my API key?
On your account dashboard, click Regenerate key on the product. The old key stops working immediately and the product is notified of the new one automatically. Update anything that uses the old key (companion app, scripts, etc.) before you regenerate.
Privacy & security
Is my payment information secure?
All payments are handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant at the highest level. We never see your card details — Stripe handles tokenization and storage. We only store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
What data do you collect?
Email, hashed password, display name, billing metadata from Stripe, and whatever you upload to the products you use. See our Privacy Policy for full details. We don't sell your data and don't use it for advertising.
How do I report a security issue?
Please contact us with the details. We take responsible disclosure seriously and aim to respond within 48 hours.
